This farm consists of 1200 hectares or about 3000 acres of hills, pasture lands which are flat and grassy and a river that runs through the property/ There are several out buildings, farm equipment, cattle (1000 head) and is located about 15 minutes from the ocean plus is situated just south of the Equator aprroximately 20 minutes. I saw was a lot of grassy pasture land, large hills in the background, a very nice river that runs through the middle of this property, cattle grazing quitely, a couple of horses and a few buildings and houses. The houses are wooden structures and adequate.
My impressions of this plantation is one of being cared for. It did not look run down or in distress. This farm has been owned by the same gentleman for over 50 years. There is water, electricty and roadways. It is near Jama, a small but adequate town with supplies and restuarants and just a few minuts off the main highway that runs up the coast.
This plantation is about 1.5 to 2.0 hours north of Manta where there is an airport which has flights to and from Quito.
